On behalf of Town Council and the citizens of Tisdale, I extend a warm welcome to all visiting our web site. Tisdale and its citizens are extremely proud of our community and also of the part it shares in a very viable and prosperous North East Region in the province of Saskatchewan.
Our industrial and commercial sectors in and around Tisdale provide many employment opportunities. Our community also provides an excellent education system for our young population. Post Secondary education is also available through the Cumberland Regional College. Tisdale is known for the quality of life it provides for all who reside here. Tisdale has excellent retail, industrial and recreational sectors and provides all services therefore earning it the distinction of being one of a few centers in the province that is designated as a complete shopping centre.
Tisdale also has excellent health care facilities including a hospital, level 3 & 4 care homes as well as professional health care including physicians, dentists, optometrists, chiropractors, denturists and many support services.
We are extremely proud of the RECplex, a one of a kind facility that was built over the years by stakeholders in education, health, culture and recreation.
This partnership provides the citizens of Tisdale now and in the future with programs and a facility that allows a quality of life expected to raise a family in a friendly and secure environment.
Visit our Doghide River as it winds through town and find an extensive corridor of walking trails, beautiful 9 hole grass greens golf course and green recreation areas.
I truly hope that you will have the opportunity to visit and enjoy our Town and its people. You will also find many other attributes not mentioned here that highlight our community, and if your stay is short or lengthy I’m sure you will see that “Tisdale is the Place to Bee”.
